About me

My name is Steven Ellington, and I am a practicing Spiritualist Medium living in Middlesbrough North East U.K.  I have worked as a Spiritualist Medium for over 20 years.  However my journey into Spiritualism began many years earlier as a seven-year-old child when I experienced frequent spirit activity within the family home including regularly seeing the spirit of a small dog.  As a teenager I experienced a very accurate premonition concerning the passing of a loved family member as well as spirit intervention saving me from serious injury if not certain death.

In 2001 I experienced what can only be described as a very intense and unnerving Spiritual awakening event which completely changed my life in ways I could have never imagined.  Once I was able to make sense of my newly discovered reality, I attended a Mediumship development class for two years as well as completing a NCFE course in basic counselling skills allowing me to listen empathise and explore life when offering spiritual insight and guidance.

My book entitled “Developing Your Spiritual Potential” which took seven years to write not only offers a detailed insight into the spirit dimensions, but also my life interactions with the spirit world. It is also a self help workshop featuring twenty spiritual disciplines that will enable the reader to discover what I like to call  “Undistorted Reality” a new inherent awareness to see beyond the restrictive delusional existence which up until now you perceive to be factual and so very real.

I have also co-written two books entitled “Thirstonfield Halt” and “Thirstonfield Halt Bradbury Farm,” fictional supernatural horror stories following a couple Paul and Jill who buy a disused former railway station to restore into a home. The old railway station had lay forgotten and derelict for many years, and for good reason. Its dark secrets remaining undisturbed until its new owners moved in.

The events in these fictional stories are based on real occurrences I have personally experienced whilst conducting paranormal investigations. The main character central to the story line is based on a dark tormented spirit whose presence still walks the Newport area of Middlesbrough to this very day.
